The phone looks stunning. As a current Trifold user, I am using the Fold 8 Ultra as a secondary device to replace my Fold 6. The folding sound is deeply satisfying. The hinge feels incredibly strong, and the screen crease is barely visible right now. In terms of screen quality, weight, and overall size, it feels very similar to the Fold 7. Performance has been fast and snappy so far. I chose the Violet Shadow color and really love the aesthetic. My only complaints are that I miss having an S-Pen, and I am disappointed that there is no matching Violet Shadow case available at this moment.

I bought this yesterday 05/08 where and its one of the best phone to look, hold and admire visually without even unlocking the mobile. I got a violet shadow and its very premium looking. The crease is very very less and hinge seems to be a little hard now and when it comes to usage its really great performance and screen is designed like as though am seeing everything in real kind of things.

I upgraded from my Fold6. Z Fold8 Ultra is a massive improvement over it. Slimmer, bigger battery, crease and hinge is non-existent. System is much more fluid and responsive. Overall durability is much higher than before.

Having such a big screen makes looking at continuous heart rate data, sleep scores, and daily health metrics so much easier to read without squinting. During online GP appointments, being able to split the screen—having the video call on one side and taking notes or checking lab results on the other—has been an absolute life saver for keeping track of our family’s health care options. Though some others claim the middle crease is still noticeable, I would sincerely state that in my particular case, the middle crease is basically non existent. Also, the phone possesses features that allow for better security. For a person like me, the size of the screen gives me the ability to zoom screens to a great size. This is definitely a big selling point. One thing that would really make it fantastic is if they offered it in a mellow gold type color.

But be aware of the inner screen display where if you close the phone the borders of the phone does not protect the inner screen rather the inner screen touches each other so any kind of debris will cause the inner screen to break. You might also find that the touch response is not that great as the bar phones of the ultra. I just love the size, Samsung needs to work on this phone factor and make it perfect. Display quality is great but sometimes or most of the times it reduces the brightness I do not know for whatever reason it might be. And battery life it is okay for now goes through the day but you need to recharge it twice a day.

The battery was getting weak in my existing s22 that I had had for 4 years so I thought it was time for a change. The phone exceeds expectations. The only reason this isn't a five-star review is that I got really used to having an S Pen, but because of the need to keep the phone thin I sort of understand the reason why the S Pen functionality wasn't included. I hope that in future iterations of this device that they will be able to bring back the screen writing functionality. But because of the other benefits the phone offers, I can live without it for now. This is a great phone.

In fact, I kept my S24 Ultra around for times I needed a better camera and would just swap Sim cards between that and the fold 6 depending on if the day required productivity or quality pictures. But, now we have the 8 Ultra with a very close to the S24 Ultra camera set up so I chose the 8 Fold Ultra as my new daily driver. No more having to make the choice of quality photos or productivity. The phone now can handle both. Coming from the 6 Fold, this one is amazingly slim and the inner crease is practically gone. I'm loving this phone and plan to keep it around for the next few years. The hardware and software are definitely future proof for the next OS updates.

I chose the Fold 8 Ultra for the larger screen and multitasking benefits of the larger screen. The cameras are good for a folding phone. Although with the Ultra name i think the cameras could have been better, in particular the telephoto. The Bluetooth S Pen needs to make a return to the Fold series. Maybe next year, along with a new Ultra that folds three times? I love the thiness of the phone, especially when folded as it's just as thin as a phone that doesn't fold but sometimes thinner than non folding phones. The battery performance has been good so far, easily lasting all day after watching content and browsing the internet. The durability has improved greatly from other generations of the Fold lineup. I'm glad the hinge on the Ultra allows for flex mode.

In each category I have not had a single complaint. It's features and speed are awesome, The clarity of the photos combined with the zoom in ability has helped me on a few occasions to be able to find cracks that i had not noticed with nacked eye. C’est un telephone de ¹très bonne facture, même si cela doit etre confirmé avec l’usage dans le temps. Attention toutefois à l’écran du dessus car les coques disponibles semblent plutôt protéger l’arrière du téléphone. Le double écran est pour ma part une belle avancée en matière de confort de visionnage. La lumière, les couleurs, la résolution sont de qualité. Ppur ceux qui se questionnent sur la pliure, elle est à ce stade très légère et inexistante en visionnage.

The crease on the 8 ultra has been greatly improved along with the opening and closing the phone.The fold needed a battery upgrade which the ultra 8 has. Also the screen size wasnt optimal when it was closed. I chose the z fold 8 ultra because of it size when closed for easy access. However when i look at the unfolded screen I get a big smile on my face. The screen is beautiful. I love how when navigating different it splits the open apps and the available apps on different sides of the screen. I just received it and am in love with it. It also has the key plus functionality for my car so i can use my phone as a touchless key. I love love love it.

After only a short time with it I can already notice the longer battery life and that is a great improvement! I can also notice the speed of the phone is faster and smoother. The ability to have multiple windows open for multitasking is the main reason I love this series. I dabble in day trading and this device makes it so easy. If you spend more time with media type content and don't need the multitasking the fold 8 might be a better fit. I tested one and liked it too, but I chose the ultra for the extra things it does. Either way, you can't go wrong with these amazing phones from Samsung.

I eventually became frustrated with the poor camera, awkward front screen size, and ever-worsening crease. So I left. But I'm back now with the 8 Ultra. Front screen problem? Gone, this aspect ratio is the perfect blend of normal candy-bar style without being too wide. Camera issues? These are flagship cameras for a flagship phone (finally!). And the crease? Barely noticeable, especially when consuming content. I fell in love with foldables for the incredible productivity and now it works great for everyday family use as well. I cannot recommend this phone enough!

With the Z Fold 7 I thought there wasn't really much for Samsung to improve but again they have. The 8 is even thinner which is wild. Literally as thin as the usb c plug. Wondering if the future will be no charge port and just have wireless charging or maybe so new tech will come out. The upgrade to the battery capacity and upgraded cameras are awesome. Overall its been great and I love multi-tasking on my phone for work and personal items. I consistently get ask by random people what phone I have and how I like it. Think I've sold a few people on it. Haha

Battery life is the biggest change: my Fold 5 would barely make it through a full day, and I was always hunting for a charger by evening. The Fold 8 Ultra actually holds up. The hinge is noticeably smoother, and the main screen crease is much better than the Fold 5's, still visible if you're looking for it, but a real improvement. Responsiveness is a smaller difference, but it's there; everything just feels a touch snappier day to day. The thing I like most, though, is the wider cover screen. On the Fold 5, typing out a quick WhatsApp reply on the outside screen felt cramped, so I'd end up unfolding the phone way more than I should've just to reply to something simple. The Fold 8 Ultra's wider cover screen makes typing and quick replies feel natural without opening it, a small change that makes a real difference day to day. I've only had the 8 Ultra a week, so I can't speak to long-term durability first-hand yet. But I had my Fold 5 since launch with zero issues, so if the 8 Ultra holds up anywhere near as well, I'll be more than happy.

Many things were improved in the Ford 8 ultra relative to the previous generation plus the camera battery or charging But when it comes to the competition of Chinese smartphones, it's not stety samsung a little pale appearance. I hope that not long will samsung improve it but I really like these phones so I bought it soft and the software at the highest level as to the quality of the screen is good but it could have been better. I also have a samsung s 26 ultra and I have the impression that the screen there is a little better so not exactly samsung tried Ala despite the weak minuses samsung zfold 8 ultra is a great phone and good refined and I am very pleased with it, there is a big improvement in terms of the previous generation and this is very cool

Easy to grab and has a nice snap feel. The only reason I didnt grab the last year model was because of the battery and the fast charge capability. But now this new phone has 45 watt charge speed and 5000 mAh, just like the S26 ultra. And they werent lying about the improvements they made to the inner screen. You can barely see the crease and it has anti reflection on it too. Being able to also multi-task with google and notes is amazing. I will be sticking with this phone for as long as I can.

The older models lacked the nativity of screen scaling across applications, but with the Fold8 Ultra, it has been long enough that most applications seamlessly transition from the standard exterior screen size to the jumbo inner screen. This phone does not disappoint. The processor keeps up with any demand you throw at the phone, and the displays are crystal clear with absolutely no noticeable crease now on the inner screen. The Z Fold 8 Ultra looks like an amazing foldable Galaxy phone for 2026, with its bigger battery, Super Fast Charging 2.0, and a smarter processor. Plus, the higher brightness and display resolution mean a better experience for me while browsing my favorite sites and watching my favorite shows and movies. The colors seemed super vibrant without being overdone. And it seems I don't have to sacrifice camera performance for a foldable anymore. Photos seemed sharp and detailed, and night shots were excellent. Portrait mode has superb edge detection, and the ultrawide camera captures way more detail than I expected. I also love the "MY FANCAM" where I can crop a video out of a video and then focus on a certain person. That is something really really amazes me. To add, the hinge works smoothly with just the right amount of resistance. If you're into foldable phones, you'll probably love that the Z Fold 8 Ultra. A big step up from the Fold 7, offering flagship cameras, impressive battery life, awesome multitasking, and a premium build.

Not to mention how awesome the upgraded battery life is. The crease is significantly less visible and one UI 9 is amazing. The Galaxy AI feature is really help me with my day-to-day life especially with phone call briefings, I also never have to worry about my battery life because it's significantly longer than my fold seven. The day I got it I did not plug it in, transferred all of my files from my old phone. And then went an extra day without charging it because the battery life is so long.

Fold8 Ultra I have been using the older fold 6. The new improvement in battery and hinge mechanisim made to this year fold 8 ultra are significant. In my opinion, the phone is worth the upgrade.

I chose to continue my Galaxy Zfold journey with the upgraded Zfold 8 Ultra! OMG this thing is Blazing fast, has insane photo quality, the AI features are great. I mean just the photo AI alone is leagues ahead of other phones. Also, the size and weight are perfect, major weight drop from the fold 5 (my last phone). Display quality amazing! I am sure there are many more features I haven't discovered yet I've only had it 2 days, but I am already impressed. The data transfer alone was so easy and fast. I can keep going but I haven't had enough time to try everything yet. Very happy Samsung fan here.

I read the early prediction of a larger battery and decided that I would seriously consider the Z fold 8. As the year unfolded, I read many rumors about the 8 and, lately, the 8 ultra. I can truthfully say that I was more excited with each rumor. When I saw the drastic battery life upgrade, the next generation processor, the camera breakthrough and the AI improvement I knew I had to have the Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra. My 8 ultra with a protective case is thinner than my bare fold 5. I have now had it for two days and I am very happy with my purchase. Thank you Samsung!

The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
