                  The phone looks stunning. As a current Trifold user, I am using the Fold 8 Ultra as a secondary device to replace my Fold 6. The folding sound is deeply satisfying. The hinge feels incredibly strong, and the screen crease is barely visible right now. In terms of screen quality, weight, and overall size, it feels very similar to the Fold 7. Performance has been fast and snappy so far. I chose the Violet Shadow color and really love the aesthetic. My only complaints are that I miss having an S-Pen, and I am disappointed that there is no matching Violet Shadow case available at this moment.

                  I bought this yesterday 05/08 where and its one of the best phone to look, hold and admire visually without even unlocking the mobile. I got a violet shadow and its very premium looking. The crease is very very less and hinge seems to be a little hard now and when it comes to usage its really great performance and screen is designed like as though am seeing everything in real kind of things.

In my research for the next perfect phone, I came close to purchasing something outside of the Samsung ecosystem, something international, and something completely different. However, with the deals, the bundle, and the specs, I ultimately got the Z Fold 8 Ultra. I highly recommend the Fold 8 and S26 Ultra, but for my lifestyle, nothing works better for me than the Z Fold 8 Ultra. What I'm trying to say is that this new phone is completely another level—the feel in your hand, its lightweight, thin design, and everything else. Do your research, find the right phone, and enjoy. Having such a big screen makes looking at continuous heart rate data, sleep scores, and daily health metrics so much easier to read without squinting. During online GP appointments, being able to split the screen—having the video call on one side and taking notes or checking lab results on the other—has been an absolute life saver for keeping track of our family’s health care options. ​The screen brightness is unreal outside, the battery easily lasts us all day, and everything runs lightning fast. ​It’s easily the best tech purchase I’ve made in years. I chose Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra for mobility yet having the flexibility to be productive on the go. Also the portable big screen for entertainment or presentation was a deal breaker for me. From showing a plan on site to the clients to watching videos and reading articles, there is hands down no other phone with the best battery life, crisp screen, slim design and vivid colorful high res screens. I chose the violet shadow color which I absolutely love. It's dark and now too flashy, perfect for my taste. I just love the phone!

With the Z Fold 7 I thought there wasn't really much for Samsung to improve but again they have. The 8 is even thinner which is wild. Literally as thin as the usb c plug. Wondering if the future will be no charge port and just have wireless charging or maybe so new tech will come out. The upgrade to the battery capacity and upgraded cameras are awesome. Overall its been great and I love multi-tasking on my phone for work and personal items. I consistently get ask by random people what phone I have and how I like it. Think I've sold a few people on it. Haha

I chose to continue my Galaxy Zfold journey with the upgraded Zfold 8 Ultra! OMG this thing is Blazing fast, has insane photo quality, the AI features are great. I mean just the photo AI alone is leagues ahead of other phones. Also, the size and weight are perfect, major weight drop from the fold 5 (my last phone). Display quality amazing! I am sure there are many more features I haven't discovered yet I've only had it 2 days, but I am already impressed. The data transfer alone was so easy and fast. I can keep going but I haven't had enough time to try everything yet. Very happy Samsung fan here.

The older models lacked the nativity of screen scaling across applications, but with the Fold8 Ultra, it has been long enough that most applications seamlessly transition from the standard exterior screen size to the jumbo inner screen. This phone does not disappoint. The processor keeps up with any demand you throw at the phone, and the displays are crystal clear with absolutely no noticeable crease now on the inner screen. Samsung has definitely got it right this time.

Not to mention how awesome the upgraded battery life is. The crease is significantly less visible and one UI 9 is amazing. The Galaxy AI feature is really help me with my day-to-day life especially with phone call briefings, I also never have to worry about my battery life because it's significantly longer than my fold seven. The day I got it I did not plug it in, transferred all of my files from my old phone. And then went an extra day without charging it because the battery life is so long.

I read the early prediction of a larger battery and decided that I would seriously consider the Z fold 8. As the year unfolded, I read many rumors about the 8 and, lately, the 8 ultra. I can truthfully say that I was more excited with each rumor. When I saw the drastic battery life upgrade, the next generation processor, the camera breakthrough and the AI improvement I knew I had to have the Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra. My 8 ultra with a protective case is thinner than my bare fold 5. I have now had it for two days and I am very happy with my purchase. Thank you Samsung!

Been loving the zfold 8 ultra so far. The size compared to my 6 is hugely noticeable and the crease is almost gone. I've enjoyed how the almost snaps open and closed giving it a firm and sturdy feeling. Gaming and streaming on it has been great. Make sure you get a case that supports a kickstand in your favorite consuming mode (landscape or portrait). It is soooo thin (besides the camera bump). Nothing has been able to pull me away from the fold line. Excited to see the tri-fold next year!!

I do not regret it. The Fold phones are excellent. They are not the slimmest or most feature-packed available (you can get more from other eastern competitors), but they are well-thought-out, software is good to excellent, and durability has gone from acceptable to excellent as it has improved year over year. I did Fold 3>4>5>6>skip>8. I bet from now on, I'll be able to go two or three years without upgrading, and I will be perfectly happy. These phones really have no peer.

My wife got a z-fold seven last year and I was instantly jealous. I ordered this one and got it two days before I thought I was going to get it. I can't say anything bad about this phone. It's razor thin. The battery life is phenomenal, lasting longer than my s24 ultra typically does. The build quality is great the crease is barely noticeable the inside and outside screens are beautiful. Transferring the data from my one terabyte s24 to my 1 TB 8 took some time but I had almost a full phone. No major issues so far all of my apps are working and would highly recommend especially if you're not coming from a foldable already.

Speaker volume is low as with all Samsung phones. If you have small hands this is NOT the phone for you, when open it is slick and slips easily. Now this review is written by a user that has had a Z6 phone and yes its a "brick" but you pictures are larger that the Z8 and I am an artist that uses the Z6 to show off my work, and the Z8 has a much smaller screen. I'm guessing the up and coming Z Tri Fold will suit my needs better. All in all it's a great phone as is all Samsung phones.

I primarily use my phone as a productivity device for multitasking between apps such as Zoom, Outlook, Teams, browser, etc. Not only is the foldable form factor excellent for multi-tasking, but also the taller aspect ratio ensures that the keyboard is not hiding most of the display. As someone upgrading from Z Fold 6, there are also significant upgrades in terms of overall screen size, battery life, thinness, weight, crease, and that anti-reflective display. Fold 8 seems like a better choice if your primary use case is media consumption, but for productivity, I would highly recommend Fold 8 Ultra.

The 8 has been much improved from the previous Folds. I love the lighter weight and slim design. I have enjoyed using it for reading, gaming and work purposes. The additional power and performance and ease of access make multitasking simple. On a side note, I've also had the opportunity to see the Samsung Fold 8 (Wide) and I'll be purchasing that too. I love the pocket book feel of that one as well. I wish it had a stylus for that one specificly to get it like a note tablet feel but I digress. Battery life is the biggest change: my Fold 5 would barely make it through a full day, and I was always hunting for a charger by evening. The Fold 8 Ultra actually holds up. The hinge is noticeably smoother, and the main screen crease is much better than the Fold 5's, still visible if you're looking for it, but a real improvement. Responsiveness is a smaller difference, but it's there; everything just feels a touch snappier day to day. The thing I like most, though, is the wider cover screen. On the Fold 5, typing out a quick WhatsApp reply on the outside screen felt cramped, so I'd end up unfolding the phone way more than I should've just to reply to something simple. The Fold 8 Ultra's wider cover screen makes typing and quick replies feel natural without opening it, a small change that makes a real difference day to day. I've only had the 8 Ultra a week, so I can't speak to long-term durability first-hand yet. But I had my Fold 5 since launch with zero issues, so if the 8 Ultra holds up anywhere near as well, I'll be more than happy.

I hope that not long will samsung improve it but I really like these phones so I bought it soft and the software at the highest level as to the quality of the screen is good but it could have been better. In the end it came down to the Cameras as I have always had an Ultra since the Note 20. After 2 days with the device, I am loving the responsiveness and speed and ease that things can be accomplished. I didn't realize how much my Galaxy S 23 Ultra lagged until I started using the Z Fold 8 Ultra. Having the larger inside screen was beneficial for me to use for music lyric apps and replaces the tablet I carry. There is still a crease after it is folded several times, but I find that negligible in everything that I have used it for so far. All in all, so far at least, this may be my first foldable, but it probably won't be my last.

It's the same size and aspect ratio as other normal phones. This solves all of the formatting issues I had with older models. When the phone is open its truly like having two phones side by side. Multitasking is the best its ever been when using two full apps at once.

I chose the Z fold 8 ultra since I like to work from my phone as well. I switched from the fold 7 and after one day, I can already see some improvements. The battery life has gotten better and the crease has gone down a lot. Power efficiency has improved as well. It feels lighter and the transfer was seamless. The fold 8 Ultra has definitely made changes. Lastly, with the inner display, I do not see a lot of reflection from lighting and that was always a problem for me on the previous folds. Now the inner screen is still visible when light hits it. This phone really made improvements and I can't wait to see what samsung will do next. I am glade I chose the Z fold 8 Ultra, no regrets!

The large inner screen is fantastic for multitasking, reading, gaming, and watching videos, but it still folds down into something I can comfortably use every day. Samsung has also made it feel noticeably thinner and more polished than previous Fold models. The cameras are excellent, the displays are bright and smooth, and the battery reliably gets me through a full day. I especially love being able to answer emails while referencing a document or keep a video open alongside another app—it genuinely saves me time. It’s definitely expensive, but it feels like a phone, tablet, and productivity device all in one. If you’ve been waiting for foldables to mature before buying one, this is the model that finally delivers.

                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant to switch from the S-Ultra series to a Fold, as the previous versions I looked at had issues I couldn't get over (short battery life, visible fold seam, breakage, etc), but when I saw the Fold 7 that a coworker had, I knew that's what I wanted. I chose the Fold 8 Ultra mainly due to timing because I still had my old phone to pay off. It's better than I expected. Great battery life, barely visible fold seam, and it's just a tad smaller than my S24 Ultra, which works out perfectly for me!

My last phone was the S24 Ultra that came with a stylus and you were able to do a split screen (top&bottom). In addition to using the multiple screens I was interested in being able to watch my English Football (soccer) and the idea of having a large tablet like screen was too much to ignore! What I do miss on this phone is the S- pen but I purchased a case that came with a stylus on the back cover and so far I'm happy with that.

                  Upgraded from s25U, fold 8 is an innovative device with the new wide screen. Compact and light, camera is good, and the phone is fast. I love the inner display and the anti reflective screen. Amazing phone to use and worth the upgrade. Aspects that can be improved on are, 1) hinge is still fairly visible 2) table wobble is pretty bad 3) front display should be anti reflective as well. 4) fairly expensive.

I use my de ice heavily for work including drafting documents, reviewing documents and engineering drawings, and taking pictures during inspections, and for personal use to play media. The Z Fold 8 Ultra has been performing wonderfully and in occasions you can really feel the updgrade. I enjoy it and although I was hesitant, I do not regret the decision, but I would love if they bring back the stylus

I'm glad I chose the Fold Ultra 8 because its a massive upgrader to everything I already loved about the fold 5. The screen is beautiful and having a bigger outer screen makes a big difference. The design feels much thinner and lighter, and the new hinge gives the fold open action a very satisfying "snap." They definitely improved the main display, as the crease is noticeably less visible and much harder to feel. Navigating through apps is a breeze because the OS feels exceptionally snappy and responsive. Finally, the Green Sapphire color looks fantastic. It's a fantastic device!

The responsiveness of the phone is impeccable and is extremely smooth, the new silicon carbon battery allows for your flagship battery life whilst making the phone slimmer, which shows in the crease now taking a huge visual decrease seen in other fold phones and also the hinge being smooth and durable to allow easy opening. And finally with the new titanium screen fitted into the screen the durability has stepped up dramatically.

I just haven't seen the specs to justify the purchase and skeptical on the value. Well....they finally got it right and its a good combo device...phone + tablet. I currently have a S25 Ultra, and the new Z-Fold 8 is essentially a S25 Ultra that magically converts to a small tablet. The major difference is the fold is slightly narrower, but everything that matters is the same or better. If your on the fence, buy it. You won't regret it.

The big foldable screen is the best part for me. It's great for watching videos, multitasking, browsing, and even getting some work done. With the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra I'm able to have two applications open at once and move between them seamlessly. This used to be a several step process now that is a single click (Slack+Claude, Gmail+Slack, etc.). My 4 year old and I watch movies and it's a lot better than even my old S series Ultra.

If you're upgrading every other year, this is worth it. The 8 is as thin as phones can come, with the frame being as wide as the charging port. I chose the violet color and it's such a beautiful color. I felt that the only thing missing from the fold was the macro lens shooting. I was beyond excited to see this feature come over from the S ultras to the Z line.

The first thing you notice is how much lighter it feels in the hand, despite having a noticeably bigger screen. The updated outer display dimensions make a massive difference—it finally feels and functions like a normal phone screen, making typing on the exterior display so much easier and less cramped. When unfolded, the massive inner screen makes multitasking incredibly smooth and effortless. On top of the physical design improvements, the battery life has also received a very noticeable boost, easily getting me through a full day of heavy use. If you are on the fence about upgrading from an older fold generation, the ergonomics and performance upgrades here make it completely worth it.

So far my experience with the new generation is about what I expected. The z fold 8 ultra feels fast, responsive, and has a great looking display. My only gripe, would be the inner displays feel. The screen is beautiful and the crease is much less than that of my old Z fold 4. I hope it is more resilient and will not crack down the crease as that one did even whilst still in warranty. Without a protective cover, I find the phone rather slippery to handle particularly when opened. The thinness is very impressive but I would rather have preferred a return of the S pen or at least the integration of some sort of stylus. I also wish you offered a range of protective covers with a stylus, a stand and RFID space for cards. Is there one you recommend that I can be sure will work well?

The opening/closing is much better and doesn't slip while opening. The UI 9 is very well improved. Some camera advancement is very helpful. The one best I like is front screen view while I am taking a shot. I can take much better picture of my 1.5 year grand daughter. She looks in to frame and a perfect shot is taken. Looking at screen in sunlight is much better. Screen sensitivity had improved. Hope next time the crease is gone completely and isn't visible irrespective of how many times it has been opened/closed. Finally, just wanna mention unlike my whole familyI love Samsung and will continue to love it. You are the best. Keep it up. Thank you!

At this point I've had the Z Fold 8 Ultra for roughly a day and can't really find a reason to not keep it. The new larger outer screen finally approaches what I've wanted: a true Galaxy Note sized folding alternative. This is my third Z Fold model I've had (4 -> 6 ->8) but the first that I haven't just accepted compromises to use it. I haven't really played around with the AI stuff so I can't speak to that. I have been impressed with battery life so far. I've given it the same use I do to all my previous phones and it reached end of day with more than 30% battery left. Have yet to really put the inner screen through it's pieces; mostly because this model is so darn thin I can't really hold it very well in my larger than average hand. The colors do far though are the best of the previous Z Folds I've had.

The Flex Titanium inner display is shockingly flat, and the anti-reflective coating actually makes outdoor reading usable. Moving to the 5,000mAh battery and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 gives me a reliable 1.5 days of runtime, which my older Fold could never pull off.

                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to change over to a fold phone after growing bored with the same flat style smart phone I've had for the past 15+ years. I was a little nervous about the hinges and the screen creasing, but I've found that I am actually really enjoying the phone so far. The unfolded large screen is great for watching videos in bed or having a video playing while working. I've enjoyed my time with it so far and really love the flexibility of the phone.

                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Z Fold 8 Ultra because I wanted the largest screen with the biggest battery and best cameras. I can't believe how thin and light it is compared to my Fold 6. The crease is less noticeable and the battery life is better. I do miss the UDC and spen, but the positives outweigh those 2 misses. I appreciate the ease of transferring everything to the new phone with Smart Switch, even seamlessly moved my Watch Ultra over. If you're using a Fold 6 or older, or a non Z Fold device and your contemplating moving to a Fold 8 it's a no brainer- just do it. Nothing like having the big beautiful screen.

The screens are bright and clear, the cameras are great. I love Samsung and from the first time I ever bought one I"ll never go with anything else. It''s slim and easy to handle.
