[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have gad several Flip and Fold devices and with regards to tge Golds I havnt used them as much as I thought. This was dye to the thin and tall form factor. The Fold 8 flips this, I love using the front screen for all my notifications and quick browsing but when I need to I open up to a tablet size that is much better to use. And every time you pick up the Fold 8 you are surprised by how light it is, you expect it to be heavier, and it jyst feels right to hold and use. This has now for me anyway replaced both my Fold and Flip phones

For the last 5 years I've been using the Z Flips but was always curious to try the Z Folds. I really like how compact this phone feels in my hands, when folded the width feels like the old Samsung Note phones, just not as tall. But opening it up, it creates a nice mini tablet without it feeling too big or clunky. The overall visuals and processing power of the Z Fold 8 is impressive and enjoyable.

And as a 25+ years Samsung product owner I love their phones. My previous phones were the Flips and they were perfect I would've went with the Flip 8 but again my eyesight well let's just say I needed a little bigger screen but not too big, and it's still comfortable for 1 hand use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having held onto my S23 Ultra for the last 3 years, I was very tempted by the Z Fold 8 Ultra! However, in the end I opted for the Z Fold 8 because the form factor felt different. I am obsessed with how good this phone is to use just with the external screen and use that easily 80% but possibly 90% of the time. The battery is currently lasting me 2 days which is outstanding for such a small form factor. The foldable screen once opened is then truly something special. The phone is brilliantly responsive between screens and feels seamless. The camera is really only average when trying to zoom, but for normal photos of subjects nearby is perfectly acceptable.

When I saw the size of the Samsung Fold 8, I chose to give it a try because it would give me the option of having a bigger screen, if needed, without opening the phone all the time. I am so glad I upgraded to the Fold 8! The size is just perfect when folded. I am able to do EVERYTHING I want and need in the small screen. I work in education, so I know the big screen will come in handy when viewing document and spreadsheets. I have no complains and I am loving my phone so far.

The performance is AMAZING! The aspect ratio is AMAZING ! It's so smooth and I have LOVED every minute of it. Highly recommend this phone. I do wish the speaker were louder, but they aren't bad. The photos are very good, not great but VERY GOOD. Crease is next to non existent and the hinge feels really strong. It charges fast, and the battery last me all day , AND I have to active Sims running. The display is vivid and smooth and gaming... not a problem. If you read books, especially comics!? You will LOVE this device. I am Very happy with my purchase.

While the Flip is pretty compact, I wanted a phone that felt complete, yet small and postable. I chose the Fold 8 because it also can expand into a small tablet for work related stuff and it's also great for media 🎬 and reading 📚. I would say that the Fold 8 is the most attractive form factor so far, and i'm enjoying the time with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Am amazed by this device it is perfect for me, as someone who had the fold a couple of years ago and loved the ideas of a folding phone, i just could not get on with the size of the device struggling to fit it into my pocket so had to move to the flip 7. The the passport size came along, yes a little larger than the flip 7, but omg the size is just perfect, the display is great and bright, battery is night and day to my old flip 7 and the hinge just feels more premium and it fis in my pocket. It's the perfect middle ground and know am going to continue to love this phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The smaller display of the front screen is a refreshing change in terms of how it fits in my hand when using it with one hand and the responsiveness of app continuity is great when changing between the two screens which is also helped by the snappy feel of the new hinge. I was at first cautious when using the inside larger screen due to older folding screens feeling delicate but the durability has been massively improved. The battery life of the phone is very comparable if not better than my previous phone, the iphone 16 plus which i got the larger size for the battery, so i dont have to be worried about using the new phone for productivity and media streaming all day and still have charge left until i go to sleep.

I am loving the z fold 8 size upgrade. It fits in my pocket just like the flip, but now I have a much larger inner screen to view. The cover screen is larger also and I can do more on it without unfolding it! I have already decided that the z fold 8 is my favorite phone purchase ever! My Lavander colour tiny piece of tech Fold 8 is a masterpiece indeed 🫠 The "passport phone" stays charged almost 20 hours, fits perfectly in my hands ( girl hands, btw) , and now I have turned it pink all over, from the cover, to the screen 😄 I can't remember since I have written messages with both hands, and I love it . Opened for reading is something else. The hinge is strong and you can't see the middle line on the screen anymore. I am purely in love with it ❤️ 😍 💖

I watch a lot of YouTube videos to learn, read kindle books and fly often, so it's very convenient to have a phone, kindle size screen and tablet in one. It's a dream to have it all in a pocket size! The new width of the closed front screen makes it very comfortable to read and type without needing to fold the phone open. I find myself using it closed a lot more than before, saving battery life. Any case that you put on the phone will make it to bulky instead of the width. Way way way overpriced for what you get. I should have kept my s24 ultra. Resist the temptation and wait until they fix the problems

The z fold 8 is a nice miniature productivity powerhouse that can easily fit in my pocket. Taking quick notes, creating tasks on ticktick, feel better and more natural on the wider cover screen. Watching video and reviewing PDF files, Word documents, spreadsheets on the inner 7.6 in inner screen is also great, even better when you rotate it from landscape to portrait. Over all this is a nice well rounded phone and a lot of people can make use of this phone no matter the situation or location.

Different sizes have strengths and weaknesses based on the users' preference. Big phones have strengths in that they have a lot of screen real estate. But not everyone is comfortable holding a large phone for a long period of time. Smaller phones are compact and easy to carry, but may not be ideal for doing prolonged productivity tasks. I chose the Samsung Z Fold 8 after trying it hands on in retail store. I was amazed at its lightness, compact size, thinness, and bright screen. I understood that this could be a device that I could be productive with, and still enjoy the experience when I needed some downtime. It's usage flexibility is amazing. It is great for reading while in portrait mode, great for gaming and watching movies in landscape mode, and fantastic as a communication device on the outside screen when closed! This is a fantastic device! I plan to get as much usage out of it as I can. Great job Samsung!

They're uncomfortable and impractical. This is the perfect form factor - so easy to hold, and the large folded out screen is amazing. Most importantly, it's a true joy to use folded as well because the screen is a perfect size. Feels great in the pocket too. So far the hinge has only creased a little so I just hope it's durable over time. If so, it's perfect. Not gone below 50% battery with moderate use on both screens, including games. Samsung, kudos. This is a game changer!

A big part is office work on the go including Teams, Outlook and CRM activities. With its new form factor it's easy to run a meeting and then do my email follow ups. Using social media apps are a breeze and the expanded display is vivid and smooth visually. The camera works great and the pictures are are crisp looking even in lower light. I love how the front screen is super useful and can run apps, get notifications without having to open the full phone. So far it's a great phone. Really amazing! I've had the flip z 3 and the flip z 6 but never used the cover screen bc tik tok was too crowded, only used it to watch movies on. That's why I got the fold z 8 and omg it's everything! The cover screen is the perfect size, I'm able to watch movies comfortably on it and opening it is even better. I'm not one to use tablets, I had the iPad back in high school, but never really used it so I wasn't sure if I was going to use it while it's open, but with it open I can read mangas and scroll through tik tok at the same time, and it's so comfortable to use. The battery is even better, yesterday I used all day at the pool and it lasted from 8am-10pm. It's seems like it loses 5% every hour. I also dropped it on the ground yesterday 😅, but it's fine. I'm kinda scared of doing anything bad to it considering it's my first fold. The main reason I get anything samsung is the customization, and it's exceeded my expectations. Great phone!

The size of the phone i thought maybe too wide, but I was mistaken it fits great in my pockets and feels good in the hand. The battery seems great too as I've had this since Monday (now Thursday night) and have been constantly using it and setting it all up etc. I have only charged it twice. It feels very well made, responsive and only time will tell if it's durability will be enough. But so far 5 Stars from me 😍

I dont miss the height one bit. but it really would be better about a quarter inch wider. love that it works with normal chargers and car mounts etc. this would be 5 stars if the fingerprint reader worked better. it's sufficient, but not great. otherwise, this is a vast improvement over the other folds with the un-usable front screen.

I chose to upgrade from my Z Fold 5, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I thought that the Fold 5 was the best phone I had ever owned, but the Fold 8 quickly surpassed it. So easy to set up and transfer from my old phone. The folded size is brilliant, providing a smaller (but still spacious) area, but I still have the option to unfold the phone and utilize the HUGE landscape display. So much easier to use apps side-by-side. This phone really has it all. Absolutely thrilled with my purchase.

I chose to be part of the z series family starting with the fold 2. I have always been...ok....with it's tall form factor but secretly admired the shape of the pixel fold. When they announced the fold 8....I knew I had to choose this one. Folds are .ore than just an option, they are a multitask necessity. I have chosen to continue being a good user and I do not think I will go back. Great job samsung! Proud to be a galaxy fan since the s2 and Samsung user since the blackjack 2.

The only downside would be the cameras, I will be interested to see what they do about this in the future. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This year we get the choice of fold 8 and the ultra, and I'm so glad I chose the fold 8, coming from the fold 7, its been super pleasant, the cover display is wonderful and the passport style is just great. It no longer feels like a compromise, it now genuinely feels like both the cover and inside screen have their own uses and both are excellent. The crease is a bit improved which is always a nice thing. Battery life feels like a huge jump too!
