Samsung took the chance to make something truly innovative. A multi-tasking marvel, media consumption treat, and gaming powerhouse all wrapped into the thinnest phone I've ever seen. In a world where boring slab phones dominate, I chose to take the galaxy leap. And I'm not looking back.

I finally decided to give one a shot and through the first few days I can not be more pleased with my decision. It's fast, easy to get used to in your hand and no heavier than my S25 Ultra was. Split screen with apps is seamless and the crease is not at all noticeable which I was afraid would be my biggest issue. Overall I'm very happy that I chose to finally take the leap and give this device a shot. I don't think I can ever go back.

I chose to continue my Galaxy Zfold journey with the upgraded Zfold 8 Ultra! OMG this thing is Blazing fast, has insane photo quality, the AI features are great. I mean just the photo AI alone is leagues ahead of other phones. Also, the size and weight are perfect, major weight drop from the fold 5 (my last phone). Display quality amazing! I am sure there are many more features I haven't discovered yet I've only had it 2 days, but I am already impressed. The data transfer alone was so easy and fast. I can keep going but I haven't had enough time to try everything yet. Very happy Samsung fan here.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from the Flip7, which i absolutely loved, I chose to go with the Fold8 Ultra due to the upgraded screen sizing and feature rich experience. The older models lacked the nativity of screen scaling across applications, but with the Fold8 Ultra, it has been long enough that most applications seamlessly transition from the standard exterior screen size to the jumbo inner screen. This phone does not disappoint. The processor keeps up with any demand you throw at the phone, and the displays are crystal clear with absolutely no noticeable crease now on the inner screen. Samsung has definitely got it right this time.

The transition from the front screen to the larger screen is effortless and the crease is barely visible. Being able to split screen pages useful when doing multiple tasks as being the larger screen its easier to read and navigate. The battery life last a good couple of days if i use it normally and when im using it for work can easily get through a day or hard use before needing to charge. Overall very pleased with my purchase and will definitely be recommending

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new fold eight ultra, I'm coming from a fold seven and the horizontal camera stabilization feature is amazing. Not to mention how awesome the upgraded battery life is. The crease is significantly less visible and one UI 9 is amazing. The Galaxy AI feature is really help me with my day-to-day life especially with phone call briefings, I also never have to worry about my battery life because it's significantly longer than my fold seven. The day I got it I did not plug it in, transferred all of my files from my old phone. And then went an extra day without charging it because the battery life is so long.

I read the early prediction of a larger battery and decided that I would seriously consider the Z fold 8. As the year unfolded, I read many rumors about the 8 and, lately, the 8 ultra. I can truthfully say that I was more excited with each rumor. When I saw the drastic battery life upgrade, the next generation processor, the camera breakthrough and the AI improvement I knew I had to have the Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra. My 8 ultra with a protective case is thinner than my bare fold 5. I have now had it for two days and I am very happy with my purchase. Thank you Samsung!

Its a breeze using SmartSwitch to upload stuff on the old phone and supprt at the Samsung experience shops are great. I have a cannon SR camera about 4 old and already the camera on this phone is a good macth for the SR camera. Am alreadyu in love with the phone and finding every excuse to use it...

I use my phone mostly for browsing the net, but one thing I have always wanted to try is streaming games from my home PC to my phone. The larger screen and wider aspect ratio of the Z Fold 8 Ultra lets me get the most out my rig! I also appreciate how the phone feels like a normal brick phone when folded. It's super thin dimensions are state of the art and soooo easy to carry. It's like having 2 phones and a tablet, all in one! The new AI is even better than the Z Fold 7 which I traded in. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Zfold 8 Ultra. Review of the ZFold 8 Ultra, upgraded from a ZFold 6 (Long time foldable user). Been loving the zfold 8 ultra so far. The size compared to my 6 is hugely noticeable and the crease is almost gone. I've enjoyed how the almost snaps open and closed giving it a firm and sturdy feeling. Gaming and streaming on it has been great. Make sure you get a case that supports a kickstand in your favorite consuming mode (landscape or portrait). It is soooo thin (besides the camera bump). Nothing has been able to pull me away from the fold line. Excited to see the tri-fold next year!!

Mostly I chose this phone because of the new violet shadow color offered and the ability to get the 1 TB model. Since I use it for work, I needed the additional storage capacity. Still exploring all the new AI features, but so far very impressed.

The Fold phones are excellent. They are not the slimmest or most feature-packed available (you can get more from other eastern competitors), but they are well-thought-out, software is good to excellent, and durability has gone from acceptable to excellent as it has improved year over year. I did Fold 3>4>5>6>skip>8. I bet from now on, I'll be able to go two or three years without upgrading, and I will be perfectly happy. These phones really have no peer.

The display is stunning and captures content perfectly. I love the camera and ability to adjust so much being a photographer as well. This phone let's me multitask with ease and has the wide display that takes it to the next level without feeling cramped. With the OLED display and screen size it let's me edit perfectly like I invisioned it would. I can pick up small color changes with the brightness that I wouldn't even catch on my laptop! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I had an s24 ultra and I really liked it. It's been a solid phone. My wife got a z-fold seven last year and I was instantly jealous. I ordered this one and got it two days before I thought I was going to get it. I can't say anything bad about this phone. It's razor thin. The battery life is phenomenal, lasting longer than my s24 ultra typically does. The build quality is great the crease is barely noticeable the inside and outside screens are beautiful. Transferring the data from my one terabyte s24 to my 1 TB 8 took some time but I had almost a full phone. No major issues so far all of my apps are working and would highly recommend especially if you're not coming from a foldable already.

This is my first Galaxy Z Fold model and I am impressed with the features and it's capabilities. It was not difficult to set up and transfer all of my pictures and apps. The phone guided me through the process effortlessly! The tablet size is perfect for both my work and my entertainment needs. I highly recommend this Samsung Galaxy model! You will not be disappointed. One recommendation: Make sure you invest in a quality smartphone case that will provide protection if you accidentally drop the phone! Speaker volume is low as with all Samsung phones. If you have small hands this is NOT the phone for you, when open it is slick and slips easily. Now this review is written by a user that has had a Z6 phone and yes its a "brick" but you pictures are larger that the Z8 and I am an artist that uses the Z6 to show off my work, and the Z8 has a much smaller screen. I'm guessing the up and coming Z Tri Fold will suit my needs better. All in all it's a great phone as is all Samsung phones.

But when I got it and unpacked it from the box and compared it in size to the galaxy 7 I was a little disappointed that it was the exact same size when unfolded. In fact it even fit into my galaxy 7 phone case. I am sure all the different uses for it makes it a great buy but it is basically the galaxy 7 in size.So if you're a heavy User with all the different software that is on it , then it is an extremely good buy. But if you're only going to use it for messaging and Internet browsing as well as using the phone and stick with what you have especially if it's a galaxy 7 fold because it's just as good.

As a first time foldable phone user I am really impressed with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. The design feels premium the large display is excellent for multitasking, battery life is also excellent and the performance is smooth and fast. It feels like a Perfect Combination of phone and tablet, without compromising on everyday usability.

I love screen feels more smooth to touch and more brighter to look at. The upgrade from fold 7 is minimal. Better battery life . Smoothness. The crease cant even see now. My only wishes on next fold will be included spen support or better with include spen on the phone. It a big negative for me without it. It make the fold so much more unquie phone. Come from a guy using it since first note and fold line. Such disappointed. Screen could be lil bigger and wider would be perfect.

Opening it up to the large inner screen makes streaming videos, multitasking, and browsing effortless. The lighter weight and sleek design feel fantastic in hand for daily use. ​My only minor complaint is that the front cover screen feels a bit crowded vertically for quick tasks or scrolling through feeds. That thinness comes with a few compromises: the phone can run hot, it wobbles like crazy on flat surfaces, and it no longer supports the S Pen. It's also wider, so you can't text with one hand easily. I think it's worth those compromises for the better performance, inner screen size, and battery life.

The 8 has been much improved from the previous Folds. I love the lighter weight and slim design. I have enjoyed using it for reading, gaming and work purposes. The additional power and performance and ease of access make multitasking simple. On a side note, I've also had the opportunity to see the Samsung Fold 8 (Wide) and I'll be purchasing that too. I love the pocket book feel of that one as well. I wish it had a stylus for that one specificly to get it like a note tablet feel but I digress. The size, specs, user experience, flexibility to multitask with the inner screen, and overall design are top notch. I chose to upgrade to the z fold 8 ultra to take advantage of the most premium offering in the foldable market. The anti glare inner screen and upgraded cameras are the new features I am excited for the most, but the brighter screen also surprised me. Overall, I do think this is truly the ultra product it claims to be and I'm happy to use it on the daily!

I primarily use my phone as a productivity device for multitasking between apps such as Zoom, Outlook, Teams, browser, etc. Not only is the foldable form factor excellent for multi-tasking, but also the taller aspect ratio ensures that the keyboard is not hiding most of the display. As someone upgrading from Z Fold 6, there are also significant upgrades in terms of overall screen size, battery life, thinness, weight, crease, and that anti-reflective display. Fold 8 seems like a better choice if your primary use case is media consumption, but for productivity, I would highly recommend Fold 8 Ultra.

This one is bigger thinner clearer lighter and has so many more features I haven't even begun to tap into a quarter of what this phones has to offer. "I choose" to keep using the z fold series as it allows me to multi task and have the access level of my computer while im on the road. If I just need quick access I can leave the phone closed. If I need to multi task I open it up and split screens. This new model gives me the additional space I was missing on the 5 and 6. Makes it easier to touch. This new model being thinner and lighter doesn't bounce around in my pocket in my shorts and bang against my leg like a brick. The AI features built into the phone are already learning my style and allowing me to save time and energy organizing my day. Whether your a simple phone user or a multitasking executive this phone is definitely worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From switching from the s series of samsung phones to the z series, the experience I've had on the phone so far has been excellent and offers a different experience to the s series at no drawbacks. The responsiveness of the phone is impeccable and is extremely smooth, the new silicon carbon battery allows for your flagship battery life whilst making the phone slimmer, which shows in the crease now taking a huge visual decrease seen in other fold phones and also the hinge being smooth and durable to allow easy opening. And finally with the new titanium screen fitted into the screen the durability has stepped up dramatically.

In the end it came down to the Cameras as I have always had an Ultra since the Note 20. After 2 days with the device, I am loving the responsiveness and speed and ease that things can be accomplished. I didn't realize how much my Galaxy S 23 Ultra lagged until I started using the Z Fold 8 Ultra. Having the larger inside screen was beneficial for me to use for music lyric apps and replaces the tablet I carry. There is still a crease after it is folded several times, but I find that negligible in everything that I have used it for so far. All in all, so far at least, this may be my first foldable, but it probably won't be my last.

While the changes weren't huge, the refinements are definitely there and make this device a joy to use. The redesigned hinge and sides make it much easier to open and use. While the thinnes changed slightly, you can feel it - it feels impossibly thin and it's truly an engineering feat. The displays are bright and honestly, overall, this is an incredible phone to use. Day to day operations, multitasking, gaming, watching content - all great experiences. This is my fifth folding device and will continue using them. OneUI is just right! Very happy with my purchase.

I chose to stay with Samsung because of innovation, quality and great products. I love the Z fold platform that offers, for me the larger viewing when opening it up to "phablet" layout for any and all applications. I have high expectations for the Z fold 8 Ultra for it's performance and design. I have used it regularly since receiving and I can already see huge improvements in battery performance from previous Z fold 6. Awesome viewing in bright sunlight with easy to see on screen content. Many of the features i am a custom to using are snappier and a little easier to use. The newer bixby and added AI features have a big improvement. Still investigating the phone and its offerings. So far awesome. Great job Samsung on this platform innovation.

Even though I have held one and seen one I am still amazed by it and its capability. The large screen of the Z fold allows me to work on my phone in a way I previously could not. It is easy to manage and customize the settings that work specifically for me. The AI features enhanced all the different capabilities that it has. I am still getting to know it and being surprised by it. I could not be more thrilled and pleased. Definitely my favorite phone ever.

It is incredible when it is folded and amazing when opened up. The battery is long lasting, I charge it once a day since I have had it. It's got great features and top notch responsiveness. I have got a 7 months baby and she loves it when we open the fold up to watch videos.
