[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im very health conscious and wanted the latest and greatest that Samsung had. I chose this watch because it had all the latest features. Well I have found that with all these new features you give up battery life. The watch has no battery life at ALL. I have to charge it daily. I will go to bed at 100% and wake up with it between 75 - 80% battery life. When i go to the battery settings its shows that the battery life is 1d 11h. I previously had the watch 7 and it easily lasted 4 days or 5 if i shut down the features. I guess with all the new features and the AI its just not worth it at this time. Im disappointed as i had such high hopes.

This year they increase the battery size and I was a huge fan of that. I also like the fact that they increase the brightness of the watch screen in addition to the battery size so the watch face is now brighter. My last Galaxy watch survived a motorcycle accident so clearly they are built tough and I will continue to get a new watch when they release as I look forward to new features. I would be a huge fan of eliminating the bezel around the watch in the future so they could increase the screen size without increasing the watch size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had the watch 7 40mm bt and the battery life was getting short, barely making a day, with gps turned off. It was time to upgrade. I chose the same version in the Galaxy watch 9 40mm Bluetooth. First thing I noticed was they changed the wrist strap. Went back to one that doesn't tuck inside and requires a loop to contain the tail. I kind of preferred the one that tucked in. Both were considered the sport strap style. Once it was setup i did notice that it seemed faster, switching screen was quick and apps loaded quick. I do like some of the new health stats it has. It has not been a week yet so some are still "calibrating", it says. Overall it was worth the upgrade from a 7 to 9.

Functionality still good. However, the standard strap on the new Watch 9 as compared to Watch 7 is far inferior in terms of look and quality. Are Samsung trying to save money at the customers expense? The small / medium strap is also smaller and I am nearly on the last hole. In addition, I am noticing no improvement in battery life on each new Galaxy watch, including the Watch 9. When are Sumsung going to introduce solar power, which I think is a major aspect nowadays. Garmin win on this!

I have adhd so the health coach aspect is incredible for accountability and gamification at meeting my goals. I honestly love it. The only draw back is the battery life, because the watch does so much it uses a lot of power which mean is needs a good charge every day or 2 smaller charges, I've come from a old galaxy watch (about 7 years old) which I also loved but the charging stand for that was so much better than the new flat charges which isn't usb. It doesn't affect the use of the watch though and the watch and it's features are amazing.

I couldn't be more happier. the watch first well with two sliders to keep it snug. The apps transferred from my old watch and had alot of other apps included. The set up was fast and convenient. I couldn't have asked for better experience. I also have the samsung galaxy note 20 5G linked to the watch and I also added a data plan which was awesome because my old one didn't have one and I couldn't get calls unless I had my phone. Now I can receive and make calls without my phone. I love it.

I chose the 44mm size for the biggest possible battery. Im so happy it doesn't require charging every day! I wasn't super excited about the "squircle" design change but this time I got black and it looks really sharp. I rely on the health monitors daily and I appreciate how long the blood pressure monitor works before needing to be recalibrated. It has all the health monitors I regularly rely on and several more. The new sport band still feels like sport, while looking more traditional. This watch is a winner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Galaxy watches since the Gear and most recently had the Galaxy Watch 7 44mm and decided to upgrade to the Galaxy Watch 9 44mm. I'm honestly not very satisfied with it and feel the 7 was better for the following reasons: 1. In my opinion the Watch 7 had better wrist straps than the 9. 2. I'm not liking the squircle design as much and find the rounded design to be better. 3. The Watch 9 does not lay flat to charge on the the Samsung dual wireless charger. This is a miss on Samsung's part. Only way to use the dual charger is to fold the wrist straps in opposite direction and loop them, which is annoying. Otherwise it's not much different from than the 7 on how it functions. As for the battery after 12 hrs of usage its down to 65%. The responsive seems fine with no noticeable lag. I'm interested to see what improvement the Watch 10 will bring.

So far I enjoy the new Galaxy watch 9 but my only complaint is the small band that it comes with is not comparable inside to the Galaxy watch 7. It barely fits my wrist and I will not be faced with having to buy a new watch band when in watches past the small band fit with three to four loops of excess room. Otherwise I really like the fitness of the watch 9 compared to the watch 7 and find that it forms to my wrist so much better. The battery seems to be a little better as well.

I’ve just bought Galaxy Watch 9 and really like it. The design is sleek and comfortable to wear all day, the display is bright, sharp and easy to read even outdoors. The LatE feature is very convenient - I can stay connected wity calls and messages even when I leave my phone behind. Performance is smooth, apps open quickly and the battery easily gets me through a full day or regular use. The health and fitness tracking features are accurate - I especially like the sleep tracking and workout detection. Overall, it’s a great smartwatch that combines style and performance. I like that it includes metabolic monitoring and antioxidant levels. The bad is the battery. The first day I had it have every feature turned on to see what the life was like. I was at 100% when I put it on at bedtime and in 24 hours it was down to 25%. Today I turned off constant hr function and put on battery saving 11:30 pm last night to 6 pm tonight it is down to 64% so much better with power saving turned on. At that rate it may make it almost 2 days without a charge. I would prefer at least 3 days but its not a deal breaker for me

After considerable consideration and talks with my fiancée, it became clear to us that it was. I previously had the galaxy watch 7, and honestly I was amazed with how well it worked. There were somethings I missed out on that the new models had but wasnt a big issue for me. If you can get a major discount on the watch like I did, the galaxy watch 9 is EASILY worth it. Im not too sure how it holds up against the 8, but I havent been let down. Also the battery life on this thing is really good so far. Thats with all the settings turned on and it lasts 2 days on a single charge.

The battery life is massively improved along with the design. Watch doesn't feel to bulky with the 40mm version a perfect size (for me). I would love samsung to offer an additional strap, one regular one for a larger wrist, as the one I have is a little snug, only able to use two notches. Outside of that. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The biggest change right off the bat for me is that I no longer have thr rotating bezel like I had with the Watch 6 Classic. It is going to take getting use to not have that. I also miss the more defined buttons. That being said set up was smooth. It is fast and has many new features that I will enjoy using. I got the fabric band, which is very comfortable. My only complaint with it is that it is not easy to get it to charge with my Samsung trio charger. Probably going to look at a different band. I am sure that as I spend more time with the Watch 9, it will become just as comfortable and useful as my Watch 6 Classic has been.

Unboxing it i was unsure if I was going to keep it. The strap doesn't come attached to the watch itself which I wasn't expecting and I thought it was going to be a faff. The strap was easy to fit, albeit I put it the wrong way round to start with but it's easy to unclip. First impressions the watch looks nice, it isn't too heavy on the wrist. Setting up and pairing to my S25 FE was painless. There sre plenty of options to customise the watch through the Wearables app. Not sure how the battery will fair compared to my old watch, early indications are it's not as good but it might be I have a lot of things running in the background which I can turn off

All have been durable and reliable and I expect no less of the "9". The feel and operation of the watch seems first class and user friendly. The ability to receive notifications and keep my phone silent is priceless. Apps intergrate seamlessly with my watch and the Watch 9 is a valuable extension to my phone. Watch system is very intuitive and convenient to operate and health features can be very valuable to many. Great to keep up with activities such as hiking which I enjoy. I noticed instantly the brighter colours ,whick looks much nicer than on my old watch, the screen is also perfect and easy to read in direct sunlight. The battery lasts already longer than my previous Watch, which is brilliant. The watch itself looks really nice and feels comfortable around the wrist . Whilst I am still learning about all the things it can do it is living up to my expectations. It's light weight and comfortable to wear which makes wearing at night so easy. The only thing to note is the battery needs charging daily, even with the 'always on screen' switched to off with movement required to show the screen. Still very happy with my purchase.

The new design introduced on the 8 really does sit more nicely on the wrist. The screen seems sharper as well. I was disappointed that the backup of my Watch 7 would not at all restore to the Watch 9; I had to setup and install (or uninstall) everything from scratch. And I don't love the Mystic band. It'll do, but I'll probably get a replacement. I'm hopeful that the Snapdragon processor and slightly larger battery will result in truly all day life. So far so good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the main reason I choose the galaxy watch 9 is the new snapdragon wear elite chip. older models could be slow, but this one is super fast and loading apps is way better. the screen is crazy bright outside hitting 3000 nits. the design kept that squircle cushion shape, and it's super lightweight with an aluminum case. it doesn't bother me at all wearing it all day on a job site. the health tracking is solid too. it tracks my vitals and gives coaching to help me sleep better. the battery life is just okay, mostly lasting about a day, but the overall speed boost makes it worth it.

The 9 has a new shape and like it compared to my watch 7. So far my only complaint has been the watch band. I liked on my Watch 7 that it tucked inside and you didn't see the extra slack, the watch 9 is more like a traditional watch band. Other than that it has been good. The battery seemed to drain fast on day 1 but hopefully that was part of the getting the watch set up. It was easy set up to transfer everything from my old watch to my new one.

I chose to upgrade because this watch has the new Snapdragon processor, it has a bright display, and all the features I've come to expect in a daily wear Watch. The battery on the watch 6 was not very good and I would struggle to get through the day and evening without having to go onto power saving. I went to bed last night after wearing the watch 9 for 17 hours and saw that I still had 72 percent battery. Also it is nice and flat on my wrist and feels comfortable to wear. The display is colourful and clear. The only downside is my older chargers do not work with the watch 9 and it is hard to get hold of the new chargers at the moment.

The watch features are a big improvement from the previous models. The interface is smooth and the watch is considerably slimmer than other digital watches but it’s still a bit too bulky on my wrist. The battery also claims to last almost 30 hours and I’m going to test that out! Very excited to try out the new running coach and antioxidant features!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the Galaxy Watch8 very well and satisfied with it. However I have decided to change to Watch9 model because of the chipset change and battery increase. However, I cannot feel that the QC the Snapdragon wear elite chipset is superior than Exynos W1000. Also the battery increase is just 10mAh. No exterior difference except for the color of back plane. Watch9 is also nice product but I am not sure if it worthes to change the previous model. At least if there is one minor change in the figure, it would be more attractive to distinguish it from previous model. Thanks.

I was initially worried the larger size might feel too bulky on my wrist, but it's surprisingly comfortable and doesn't feel dramatically bigger. The thinner profile helps it sit nicely on my wrist, and I really appreciate the larger, brighter display and improve battery capacity. It feels like a meaningful upgrade while still being comfortable enough to wear all day and overnight. So far I'm very pleased with a fit, design, and overall experience.

I have had Fitbits since 2020. Thru didn't do much, but suited my needs. I felt the battery wasn't laying very long any more so I decided to move into a real watch.I am enjoying all the bells and whistles on this. The problem is fun comes with a cost. I feel the battery life is trash. I guess I should have looked into battery life a little more. I'm sad to have to reboot it every day. And it takes almost 2 hours to charge. I have turned off several of the features, but isn't that why you buy this product? So many things are battery hogs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Galaxy watch. I chose the 40mm Galaxy Watch 9 for the size and styling. I also chose the Misty Blue band and I really like the look. I am Super happy with the improvements in the GPS response when I start a workout. I feel like the profile is a little lower but it has a more Square or Boxy look. So far everything is working great. I also chose the Misty Black band and I also like this look. I have the small medium band and wear it on the 4 th whole but sometimes place it at the 5 th hole.

Its very fast when navigating apps and it needs a case for it ti be fully comfotable and it has display options depending on what you want to do. I wanted to purchase something,a dress specifically and i put it in full display and i had a nice picture of what i really want ,it was amazi ng. I think one needs a bit of time to see the durability of this gadget,its too early for me to say anything now.

Just received my new Watch 9 the other day, love the new features. I like that I can use the band that fit my watch 8 the only issue I have which I dinged 1 star on is it can not use my 3rd party charging station. My station had no problems charging my watch 8. Watch 9 states it's not compatible with the charging station. I tried updating the charging station but that too will not work. So far the only charger that will work is the one that came with the watch which I'm not a big fan of.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Samsung Galaxy Watch 9, upgrading from the Watch 8. Its a solidly executed watch, although I didn't really feel much of a performance improvement on the new chipset. Interactions are possibly a little more fluid, but not much. I like the new health features which help round out the app and metrics. I am a Pixel phone user (and have no plans to switch), so I'm a little bummed that somethings like EKG and sleep apnea are tied to Samsung phones with no options for non-Samsung devices to get these. Lastly the set up was less smooth than the previous version. When setting up the watch, it asked to send a code to my ild watch, which it disconnected during set up, preventing me from getting the code. The back up and restore was more manual than I would expect. I would recommend just doing a fresh install if you are upgrading. Overall very happy with the watch even with the couple missteps.

I absolutely love it's redesign, not only is it unique, but has that classic look as well. The balance they struck between the traditional and modern looks is kind of incredible. Also the operation is exceptionally smooth, the screen is brighter and the transition glides from one screen to the next. My expectation is this watch is the best digital watch out there, bar none.

More importantly I got it for the updated health sensors and battery. I can fully utilize Samsung Health to better monitor my health. I additionally like the bigger battery, it is already noticeable compared to my 6 how long it lasts. I still miss the twistable bezel but overall, I really love the Galaxy Watch 9. I am very happy with my purchase.

My first Samsung watch purchase in nearly 10 years and was excited to see what advancements had been made since last Samsung watch, thought it would be the perfect companion to my new S26 Ultra. Purchased the watch9 44mm LTE version direct from my network provider and was pleasantly surprised with my purchase. The screen is beautiful and it's back with features was loving my new purchase until th following day when it was time to charge which seemed to take forever. I timed the next charge which was just over 4 hours to go from 6% battery to 100% using the original supplied puck, not great especially i seem to be charging it more than I thought i would be and not even had it a week yet. I've tried a handful of 3rd party chargers and not one worked (I like a spare for travelling). Display prompts messages stating, slow charging, charger not compatible to not doing/displaying anything at all. Loved this item at first but has become nothing more than a disappointment and thinking I shall probably be returning it for a refund.

It's super lightweight, and the band's comfortable enough for all-day (even overnight) wear. Speed-wise it's snappy, no lag scrolling through menus or opening apps. Fitness functionality is solid, blood pressure, heart rate, steps, workouts, all tracked well and the accuracy has genuinely surprised me compared to other watches I've used. Would recommend if you're after something reliable for everyday and workouts alike.
