Love the overall aesthetic of the watch. Battery seems to be good out the box. Even though it is still estimating usage patterns, it seems like a full charge is going to last around 2 days with most features on (minus always on display). Display is bright and clear, no noticeable pixel issues and love the subtlties like moving reflections on the watch face as you move your wrist helping with emersion. Feels durable and high quality so not worried about wear but I wish they included a rotating bezel or crown at the very least with more customisation of the action buttons (this can easily be done with software updates)

I've been using the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 for a short time now, and I'm genuinely impressed. The build quality feels premium, the battery life has exceeded my expectations, and the display is bright and easy to read even outdoors.
The health tracking features, especially sleep monitoring, heart rate tracking, and activity tracking, have been very useful and accurate. Performance is fast and smooth, and the watch feels reliable throughout the day.
Overall, this is one of the best smartwatches I've owned. It combines durability, excellent performance, and useful health features in a stylish design. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a premium smartwatch.

I received a Galaxy Watch 6 with a previous purchase of a phone sometime ago and got on with it really well. I just thought it was about time I went up to the next level and invested in a Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. It completed my set, Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and the Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro. Samsung products are just the best for me, my main two TV's in the house are Samsung also. My next purchase will be a couple of smaller Samsung TV's for bedrooms.
I'm getting on so well with the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, not a single regret yet for upgrading, highly recommend it. The display and ergonomics are really impressive.

Arrived on launch day 3rd August, I think this is my sixth Samsung watch going back to the gear s2. So far so good, I know the watch inside out from YouTube reviews and I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. I use a the sports features which are a significant upgrade in accuracy on HR and GPS from the watch 6 and a run uses about half the battery life of the old watch. Was waiting for a new chip to launch so waited three years to upgrade rather than my usual two. The bigger SC battery and a slimmer chassis was a bonus!
Raise to talk is a useful feature for Gemini, not having to press a button or say hey Google and the extra screen brightness means the flashlight function is good enough to navigate around in the dark if you haven't got your phone handy.
It's comfortable to wear, I'm swapping between all three types of band so I have a watch for all occasions and same with watch faces. I'm not looking forward to bashing it but when I do I know it'll be fine with the titanium case and sapphire glass screen so don't waste money bulking it up and hiding it's good looks with a case!

First time having a smartwatch. Really impressed with the design, dusplay, quality and ease of use. Easy to transfer connections from Samsung phone to watch. Exploring the features was easy and intuitive. Accuracy of vitals is good. Very impressed with watch although would have liked the charger to come with a USB converter. Battery, too early to know how long it will last.

Very much enjoying my new watch, even just coming from the original ultra this is a nice upgrade. Battery life seems to be holding up well and probably getting around 3-4 days so far, so a nice improvement from around 2 days on the original ultra. Even though the display hasn't changed hugely in size, it appears bigger due to the small bezel. The watch has subtle changes to the design on the outside but I'm still very happy with it. On the inside there are multiple changes including bigger battery, brighter screen and faster processor. On the whole very much like the new ultra2 and would recommend anyone with even the original ultra to upgrade or anyone thinking of moving to the ultra watch series to give it a try.

Massive improvement on my old Watch. The battery is only at 50% and I have been using it for 4 days incredible. The watch face is a fraction larger than my old on ad is a boon for my ageing eyes, it is also so much clearer. I’m still learning all its new features so I cant comment on everything but first impressions are excellent.

Very good looking device! Might have been nice to have some kind of stand to rest it on while it's charging or some other non paid options for the straps as i had to buy an extra one. Loving the stay active app, even when at work and it's reminding me to move or giving me options for stretches! The battery so far seems to be holding out 2-3 days but I'm in the stage of turning everything on full because of the excitement. Display is fantastic, very sharp, miles better than my last watch. I cant speak on the accuracy or durability but I hope they do well.

I've owned quite a few smartwatches over the years, but I can honestly say the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra is the best one I've ever had. It does everything I want it to do and does it brilliantly. The battery life is excellent, which means I'm not constantly worrying about charging it.
In fact, the only thing I don't like is having to take it off to charge it! I wear it all the time because it's comfortable, looks great, and has become part of my daily routine. If you're thinking about buying one, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Absolutely love this watch.

Battery lasts for ages. On day 3 still with 25% to go. It's quick and the display is very clear. Samsung have clearly been working on all the health sensors as they Ppear go be v accurate too. Very happy with this watch. Only slight downer is it seems to be very fussy with charging. Only works with the supplied charger so far.

I bought the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 hoping to leave my phone behind more often, and it has exceeded expectations.
The LTE independence is fantastic—I can go for a run, grab groceries using contactless pay, and head out without ever touching my phone. Being able to control my car right from my wrist feels like living in the future. On top of that, the health and fitness tracking is top-tier, giving super detailed insights during workouts. It’s rugged, fast, and completely frees me from my phone. Highly recommended!

Great watch aesthetically pleasing and lightning fast compared to my watch 4 however never had an issue with my watch not detecting my wrist, with my old watch never had an issue but I found out its due to my tattoos. I wish I would have known this was an issue now as I use it for fitness tracking and heart rate which again I cant use not much of an upgrade really I have been a loyal customer for a very long time however im slightly disappointed with the watch it should be more advertised as half the features won't work if you have tattoos.

Coming from a Galaxy Watch 4 which has lasted me very well, the Ultra 2 is a huge step up. It is very aesthetically pleasing and softer to look at. I have the dark gray version and it beautifully polished. The watch is very fast and super responsive. The health features provide a welcome wellbeing boost knowing that new metrics are now being closely tracked. I am really happy with the Ultra 2. The brightest outside means I know longer have to squint. The default watchface is so lovely I haven't even explored the available watchfaces.

I've been using the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 every day since I got it, and I'm genuinely impressed. The display is incredibly bright and easy to read even in direct sunlight, and the overall build quality feels very premium thanks to the titanium case. It's a large watch, but it's surprisingly comfortable to wear all day.
The battery has been one of the biggest improvements for me. I can comfortably get several days of normal use without worrying about charging it every night, and fast charging is a nice bonus.
Health and fitness tracking have also been excellent. GPS is quick and accurate, sleep tracking is detailed, and Samsung Health gives you plenty of useful information without feeling overwhelming. Performance is very smooth too, with apps opening quickly and no noticeable lag.
It's also extremely durable, so I don't have to worry about wearing it during workouts, hiking or swimming. If you already have a Samsung phone, the integration is seamless and everything just works.
The only thing to keep in mind is that it's a fairly large watch, so it may not be the best choice for people with smaller wrists. Other than that, I honestly can't find much to complain about. If you're looking for a premium Android smartwatch with excellent battery life, a fantastic display and plenty of health and fitness features, I highly recommend it.

My upgrade was due so got the 4g model and love it . Nice big display. Always visible even in direct sunlight . Battery life is excellent. Feel very comfortable to wear i was worried as I had a pixel Watch 2 before and its a lot bigger but love the bigger screen easy to see notifications and message back on the watch if you can't get to your phone is excellent.

Whilst a subtle upgrade in its looks to my original Ultra. I can immediately tell the difference with its battery life, definition of the screen and the smoothness scrolling. The strap appears more durable than the previous and it is a shed load more comfortable to wear. Whilst only fractional lighter, it does make a difference. The accuracy of sleep so far is a little 'off' at the moment, but the heart rate, steps, blood pressure are all on point.
Whilst I love the titanium grey, I was a bit disappointed that there was no white option and also you are restricted to one type of band and a particular colour. So if you select titanium silver, you have no choice other than the olive strap (UK). That said, getting over 45% off the RRP on a pre-launch is a bargin for what is a quality watch

Compared to my Galaxy Watch Ultra, the battery is so much better, the Samsung AI insights and health tracking is also very useful.
My Galaxy Watch Ultra 1 lasted about 1 1/2 days to 2 days my Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 lasts 3 days. So the battery has significantly improved.
Outside the screen is a lot brighter and easier to view in sunlight.
Still has the same rugged design and durability hasn't been tested although I have the utmost confidence that it will hold up with anything.

I've been considering getting a smartwatch and had been putting it off for a while until I saw the Watch Ultra 2 up for preorder. I've had the watch a few days now, and I'm really impressed with it so far. The accuracy of tracking steps is much better than just having your phone in your pocket. The feel on the wrist is really comfortable despite it being a larger watch, which was a concern before buying. The battery life seems really good; it'll tell you by clicking on the battery icon on the face how much longer it has left, and so far, it's about 3–4 days, as I've only charged it once. The display is really good, and the ability to change the face on the wearable app means you can have it showing as little or as much as you want. I'd definitely recommend it to anybody considering purchasing.

Having upgraded from a 1st gen Galaxy Watch Ultra, I'm happy to say the Ultra 2 has improved on every aspect of the original. The screen, though it's only very slightly larger, is crisper and clearer and much much brighter. I think the extra clarity is because the glass is thinner so it's less distorted than the 1st gen, but I couldn't say for sure.
The battery has been a big improvement. The 1st gen was already impressive for a Galaxy Watch and this is a nice step up. I haven't had to charge it up since I got it. Time will tell if the new battery type will have good longevity, the full battery protection featuee is very welcome. I strongly recommend you enable battery protection in your devices. It will preserve the batteries for longer and you can turn it off on the occasions you really need that extra 10-20%
The watch is thinner and feels lighter on the wrist despite being slightly heaver, it's more comfortable than the 1st gen Ultra. The default strap it comes with is also very comfortable and the most breathable watch strap I've used. In general the build quality just feels much more premium, and the 1st gen watch was already quite premium. The smaller bezel makes it much easier to operate the edges of the screen, especially the touch bezel.
It's too soon to comment on the durability, but I can say having put all my past Galaxy Watches through the ringer and seeing them emerge unscathed I trust this will be no different. The watch is solidly built and feels like you could stomp on it and it wouldn't even care.
Arguably the biggest upgrade is the responsiveness. It's so much snappier than my older watches, night and day difference. I had come to accept a slower, laggier experience as just a tradeoff one had to make with a smartwatch but that's no longer the case. It feels like using a tiny phone now.
Overall I'm very happy with my purchase. I was worried it was just going to be a tiny upgrade compared to the Watch Ultra but it is a solid improvement in every way. It feels better to use, better to wear, and it's lasting much longer between charges. If you're looking to upgrade your older Galaxy Watch you'll be pleased with this one. Though if you've never had a smartwatch before I would recommend you get a smaller, more elegant, and less expensive model to see if the form factor is useful to you.

I've been really enjoying the Samsung Galaxy Watch9. It keeps me on top of my workouts, tracks my steps and sleep, and makes it easy to check notifications without pulling out my phone. Only had the watch ultra a 4 days and already love it. Very accurate, amazing design, battery life is brilliant almost 5 days in and still got 35% left thats with Bluetooth always being on. The strap is very comfy and i love all the tracking, from sleep, to heart rate.
Worth the money and hopefully it keeps improving. 10/10...

I feel like the overall battery life and display are incredible. I really like how accurately the watch predicts my replies to messages, making it quick and convenient to respond. The durability also feels excellent and gives me confidence that it will last. Ive had the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 on my wrist for 4 days now. Here are some of my thoughts.
So far the battery had been a huge improvement on my previous watch. Including the charged amount out of the box, Ive fully charged it once over the past 4 days and In thoes 4 days ive been swimming twice, played a full round of golf and a long walk with my kids! Its tracked everything perfectly - the battery is currently on 38% amazing!
The display is clear in all lighting, especially noticeable in natural bright light. I can read the smallest of text and all icons with ease at all times.
The GPS is pinpoint accurate, while playing golf my location didnt drop once - always providing pinpoint accuracy and providing the much needed distances to the flag.
I did worry about the size of the watch prior to my order however since wearing the watch the size increase is not noticeable thanks to prefect weight balance and refined ergonomics of the casing and straps. When swinging a golf club or diving in the the pool, the watch remained centred on my wrist and most importantly i have full range of wrist movement without impinging anything on the watch.
Thankfully ive not had any chance to cause any damage to the watch - All early signs points towards strong durability from the casing and strap. The side buttons seem very strong and not likely to foul on dirt entering any small gaps.
My honest verdict - After 4 days, the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 feels like a refined, relaible and durable watch that solved previous battery complaints while offering perfect screen and tracking capabilities. I have zero regrets

I had the original ultra and wore it 24/7 for 2 years. The new ultra 2 is slightly lighter and a bit thinner and so more comfortable to wear day and night. The display is also slightly larger which actually makes a reasonable difference to me. Im getting almost 3 days of battery between charges too. All in all I'm very happy with the mark 2 and glad I upgraded.

This is my third Samsung Galaxy Watch and by far the best. Visual it looks great and the update strap makes it very comfortable to wear. The battery last longer than my watch 7 and I have all.the features I need. Health monitoring is important to me and the additional features of the 9 over the 7 provides very useful information.k

I love the display, battery life, look and feel of the watch! The battery is a huge improvement, as is the display. The transfer from my old watch was simple. I have no faults its why I love Samsung, and why I continue to be brand ambasador! 4 TV's a dishwasher, watch, 3 * tablets and a phone, all samsung in my household.
Using the watch has halped transform my life using the health app, I am leaner and fitter.

I love the increased battery length it's super useful having to charge it less frequently. The new brighter display is also great too I don't struggle seeing my watch in the sun. It's nice a durable too ive bumped into a couple of things not even a dent or scratch on it. I've been tracking my walks too and from work and the accuracy has been greatly improved. The ergonomics are great super easy to use and navigate

The watch ultra 2 is faster than the ultra battery lasting lot longer between charging its quite lighter than 1 one which had for year .
Ultra 2 display is crisper and clearer is quick opening apps up . The only fault is they do not give you a chance to pick right had watch only as they have put numbers on bezel so when using on right hand the red marking is at bottom and numbers calibrated are different

Been daily driving the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 for a bit now, and honestly, Samsung actually listened on this one.
Way more comfortable: Shaving down the thickness and pairing it with a softer strap makes a massive difference. You can actually wear it to sleep without feeling like you strapped a brick to your wrist.
The display is ridiculous: Peak 5,000 nits is no joke. Direct sunlight on a trail and I can read notifications without squinting at all.
Legit 3–4 day battery: That new 800 mAh cell plus the updated chip efficiency means battery anxiety is completely gone.
Zero UI stutter—everything feels instant.

I upgraded from my GW6C. The overall look and appearance is pure class! I can have AOD on permanently and not need to worry about running out of battery. It is a solid peace of kit and no it can withstand scuba diving I can't wait to take it out with me. It is a really nice fit on my wrist. What a transformation, having the first edition ultra (32g) model its like night and day. Battery life approx 6 days without always on display active, bio sensors seem more accurate and steps almosy spot on. The display is super visable in bright sunlight. Fits really nice with a suit. If anything like my previous ultra it should last a good while.

I like this watch as it's thinner than the Utra 1 I had. Better battery and processor and slightly larger display. My only problem was it would load my ultra 1 backup, even though it suggested it would. No matter starting afresh can be a benefit.

I upgraded to this watch from a 40mm Galaxy Watch 6, and the difference is honestly night and day. My Watch 6 was a solid smartwatch, but the battery life was a constant headache, I could barely squeeze a full 24 hours out of it without constantly worrying about where the nearest charger was.
With this upgrade, battery anxiety is completely gone. I'm easily getting multiple days of real-world use on a single charge, even with regular activity tracking and sleep monitoring. It’s refreshing not having to dock it every single night.
Display & Visuals:
The display is absolutely gorgeous. It’s noticeably brighter, making it effortless to read outdoors under direct sunlight. The colours pop, text is sharp, and scrolling through notifications or health metrics feels super fluid.
Build & Durability:
You can tell right out of the box that the build quality is top-tier. It feels rugged, premium, and substantially more durable than my previous watch. Whether I’m working out, hiking, or just bumping it into door frames around the house, I don't feel like I need to baby it at all.
Verdict:
If you’re coming from an older 40mm model and are tired of daily charging, this is 100% worth the upgrade. The combination of multi day battery, a stunning screen, and rock solid durability makes it easily the best wearable experience I've had so far.
