Upgrading from the Flip 5 was a no-brainer—it’s iconic and packed with incredible new features. I chose the Flip 8 because I love how compact and minimalist it is without sacrificing functionality. The rear camera selfie feature is still an absolute game-changer for group photos (and always impresses my friends!). At this point, I’m never going back to a non-flip phone.

The compact nature of when it is closed makes me so happy because it fits in my pocket so easily. The screen and it's fold are better and better each upgrade. I have never had any issues with any of them. I have always upgraded due to the severe abuse that I inflicted on them regularly. Love it.

I was so happy with the first model I had, but was ready for an upgrade, there was "Z"ero hesitation when I chose my next phone. The Z Flip 8 looked great on paper, but when I received it, it exceeded all expectations. The phone was so much thinner than expected, the outside screen was HUGE and a massive upgrade from my old model. Also the color was better than I expected. So happy for this new phone, have already been showing all my friends and they all love it just as much as I do!

Once it came is, I was suprised how thin, sleek and clean the design was for the Z Flip 8. Only downside is the wait time for transfering data, but this wasn't the case. Took ubder 30 kinutes to get all info transfered from my S25 Ultra to the Z Flip 8. The camera is nice, amazing display. I actually prefer the FHD+ display this phone has. Less strain on my eyes. I love how you can access certain apps like Spotify when folded. Feels like an advanced MP3 player. If you decide on this phone, you won't regret it. Z Flip 8, Z Fold 8 and the Z Fold Ultra all have their own thing. Either or, you will not be disappointed. Get it!

I love the design choices; the phone is perfectly usable in both folded and open configurations. I love being able to physically close my phone and disengage; it's a small barrier that contributes a lot to my phone use goals. Transferring my old phone data was seamless, and the switch was easy. I'm looking forward to using this a long time.

If the price would have been more closely i would have gone with the regular Fold. Since this might be the last flip though i am happy i got it and the tall aspect is better to keep in one hand versus the book aspect of the fold that requires two hands. Battery the same though. Still a unique phone for people that don't need to be on their phone 24/7

The new flip 8 made significant improvements - the seamless center fold being the top one! I've noticed a difference in speed and batter life. Love the front screen enhancement and usability. I love the flip since I get to have a full screen while having the option to adjust down when I don't have my handbag, if my handbag is too small and my favorite is to watch Netflix on it. I chose to upgrade to the Zflip 8 because of some of the new features it offered. It's a little bigger than the 5 but I love the Flip because it's still so compact and fits easily in my smaller bags and pockets even. Definitely my favorite model from Samsung by far!

I choose the pink because the color reminds me of my coral pink nintendo DS. The new features are nice to have and it's a bit of an upgrade for the camera and also the color matches with my galaxy 4 earbuds which I love too. The galaxy flip 8 is just so nice to have and I hope that samsung keep on making more flips in the future because I believe this phone has grow a following and I would be so sad if samsung decided to retired the flip. The flip 8 features are similar to previous flips but this one is faster and it has a nice look and I was amazed on how thing it is which is nice, I also love how they improved the back screen so that we don't have to download goodlock app In order to use apps on the back screen.

I have noticed very smooth screen to very nice processing. I also noticed less noticeable crease on the screen as well. When I was driving with android auto and listening to Spotify, my flip 5 would get very hot but with the flip8, it was much less. I am very happy with my purchase.

It's bigger, it's faster, much more AI features, battery last much longer, cover screen much more useful... more smoother with opening/closing, almost no crease in the middle. I'm using this phone, for mainly browsing, social media, little gaming and watching short videos... communication such as text, emails, some sport apps and very little photography (pictures and short videos) I reallylove it so far.

The 8 does have decent updates; however, these updates are more so for convenience rather than needs for increased usability. For me personally, I could've gone without the upgrade to the 8. I only upgraded due to the rumors of this being the last flip so I wanted to make sure I had the latest version if this were to be true. I think if you enjoy the flip 7 and don't need or can't afford the upgrade, then you're good and aren't missing out on much.

However, after only about an hour I realized that the 8 is faster, has a clearer screen, and has more built in features and upgrades. It feels sturdier than previous models, as well. Smart Switch transferred everything over to the new phone for me seamlessly. The Z Flip 8 fits well in my hand and my pocket. It has the routines I depend on for work. The cover screen apps are taking some getting used to but I really like the new layout and options. It's super convenient for when I want to pay for something quickly but not unfold the phone; I just use Samsung Pay right from the cover. I use this at work, too, especially when there's a client who doesn't speak English. I love that I can set it up and use the instant translation system to communicate with the people who need me. I love this phone. I'm so glad I took the opportunity to trade in for a discount.

First it was the cover screen changes, giving the phone more functionality and a better viewing experience. With the Z Flip 8, the crease has become even less noticeable, another greatly appreciated improvement. My hope is that with every upgrade, the crease will cease to exist at all. I'm not sure if that will be possible, but ultimately, it's my hope. The slight decrease in thinness is also appreciated, making the new Z Flip 8 even lighter and easier to hold. Overall, I'm thrilled with my new Z Flip 8 and couldn't be happier to continue my Flip tradition!

Wow, not even sure where to start. All I am gonna say is if you want something practical, simple, yet advanced, LOOK NO FURTHER. The Z Flip 8 is a very nice phone. Amazing display, battery is not so bad whatsoever. No need to worry about the hinges when folding, it folds perfectly. The perfomance is exceptional, better than my S25 Ultra which was my previous phone. Get yourself a case, make it more durable but when getting this phone note that you are gonna need to be extra careful with it, as with any phone. You get used to the folding quickly if this is your first Flip. Might have to get the Z Fold 8 Ultra as well 😆. But yes, durability must be considered. Great for making space in your pocket 😆.

The camera quality is good ,smooth and colors so vibrant,video performance is amazing. I play games a lot and the flip did not over heat on me ,no lag and very responsive. The one thing I can't get over is how light weight it is and thin yet its still easy to open with one hand, I've noticed the spring in the the hinge, at a certain point on opening the flip, you can feel it open on its own and you can still fold it to watch movies without a problem on the small screen or just simply opening it too. I love on the small screen you can adjust the screen size or rotate the phone for any app without restrictions. Im so happy I upgraded I am loving my phone more and more each day.
