Your phone is protected by both McAfee and Samsung Knox, which combine to deliver a powerful, multi-layered shield for your data and privacy. You can manually scan your phone to check for security threats by going to Settings > Device Care > App protection > Scan phone. You can also run a scan of your apps directly through the Play Store: Open the Google Play Store > Tap your Profile icon > Tap Play Protect > Tap Scan to check for harmful apps > Remove any harmful apps. We also recommend putting your phone into Safe mode, as your phone will not run any third-party apps in this mode, so you can identify if it is an app which is causing issues. First, press and hold the Side key and the Volume Down key at the same time. Then press and hold the Power off icon, and tap the Safe mode icon. Your phone will restart in Safe mode. Use your phone normally to see if the issue you were experiencing has been resolved while your phone is in Safe mode. If the problem has gone away, the likelihood is that it is an app that is causing the problem. You can exit Safe mode by tapping the notification "Safe mode is on.
